Responsible for the project labour, financial, plant and equipment management, my role is to ensure that projects are executed on time and within budget. My current scope of work includes structural, mechanical, and piping works for projects in the Pilbara region. Since working for Monadelphous, I have been exposed to variety of exciting projects with blue chip clients such as BHP, Rio Tinto and FMG and have been given the opportunity to share my knowledge with team members, and contribute to the bigger picture. Monadelphous has allowed me to expand my horizons and develop a deeper understanding of mining in regional Australia. Some career highlights include:- Completing the new tyre change facility at BHP Eastern Ridge Mine site within budget and accident free.- Replacing the conveyor drives unit at BHP Mount Whaleback Mine site to ensure minimal downtime to the production.- Assisting in the recovery of the screenhouse at BHP Mount Whaleback Mine site and returning the facilities back to operational state.

My responsibility was engineering technical support for the construction, installation and commissioning of the piping systems for Line 3 to 6 AG Mills and Pebble Crushers at Sino Iron Project in Cape Preston, Western Australia for CITIC Pacific Mining. The pipe sizes were ranging from small bores to DN1000 with various specification and fittings for different services such as raw water, processed water, slurry, compressed air and contaminated water.

My involvement were in construction and commissioning management of the bulk fuel diesel storage tanks (6 x 110kL tanks), fuel management system, piping distribution, heavy vehicle refueling infrastructure, oily water separator and the laboratory infrastructure for Rio Tinto Iron Ore at Nammuldi, Western Australia.

During my career, I managed to learn about project management and engineering design in accordance with Rio Tinto and Australian Standards specification. He was also managing contract strategy in accordance with the project schedule and budget including preparation of engineering deliverables for tendering and contract award.One of my primary responsibilities was to provide technical queries solution in a timely manner in accordance with standard specification. During his career, his project includes fuel storage tanks, autonomous haul truck refueling facility, Fuel Management System "ADAPT-FMS", piping distribution system, oily water separator and overhead crane.

During my early engineering career as a graduate engineer, my primary tasks were to develop Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of large equipment, piping, and building structure with FEMAP Nastran to investigate normal and extreme loading condition on the structures.This included 3D SolidWork geometry design, project management and technical report writing in Oil and Gas industry such as:- Blakers Pump Engineers’ chemical injection pump skids FEA for Gorgon project- FEA building vibration and dynamic analysis for Xstrata McArthur River Mining- FEA compressor skid static analysis for TOEPL - Technip Offshore Engineering Pte Ltd
