The State Markets Manager in the Retail Sales team is accountable for driving a combination of Metro, Regional and State-wide strategic initiatives that drive incremental Retail sales, revenue and Market share growth. With a customer-first approach, focus areas include to:- Lead, define, plan and execute a State Marketing Plan comprising bespoke and localised marketing strategies tailored to key segments across both Metro and Regional geographies to achieve these goals.- deliver through innovative and engaging strategies working closely and collaboratively with the State Manager and their direct reports.- collaborate with and influence a wide network of internal and external stakeholders critical to achieving the commercial objectives of this role and the State Marketing Plan.

Reports to the State Manager for Victoria and Tasmania• Using data, analytics, and customer sentiments to identify key trends and insights to drive strategy and decision making. • Monitoring industry developments, trends, and competitor activity and recommending new approaches that enhances successful outcomes aligned to customers’ needs and wants.• Shaping and evolving the marketing plan continually by collaborating with and communicating the plan and innovation ideas to key internal and external stakeholders.• Collaborating with and coordinating cross-functional teams to design, develop and implement innovative strategies, campaigns, events, partnerships, and experiments that grow revenue and customer base, and enhance brand awareness.• Building and maintaining strong trusted relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, partners, agencies, and vendors.• Utilising print, digital, social media and in-person communication channels to reach and engage with relevant target audiences.• Managing and negotiating budgets that enables delivery of agreed outcomes and optimising ROI and ROE.• Reporting on key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness and performance of campaigns including forecasts, budget, post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement.• Leading and actively participating in local and organisational-wide projects and initiatives: o Retail People Stream Lead – simplifying processes that deliver better outcomes for front line team members and leaders. o “Ways of working” Co-Lead – creating more effective communication between teams. o Lease line hardware review and recommendations – delivering greater efficacy to the presence of our stores.
