Recruited to help start a new banking office of Clydesdale Bank in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, in 2005.Successfully established and subsequently relationship managed, a mixed business portfolio (trading business and property lending) of circa 50 connections. All were won from competitor banks by building a local profile and from my existing and newly developed introducer network. Quickly built a strong lending back book, with stable customer deposits, generating annual income in excess of £500k.Experienced in writing lending facilities across all aspects of business banking, including:-working capital requirements, asset finance, invoice finance, as well as property development funding.

Central London

Successfully managed a portfolio of 200 business customers within the Central London area. Exceeded stretching targets for cross sales, in products such as commercial mortgages, loans and business software. Maintained client satisfaction to avoid any loss of relationship to competitors, whilst ensuring referrals from existing customers for new business continue.

Responsible for sourcing & writing new invoice financing lending across the South East Region within the small business sector. Reached first year’s target of 22 sales and £130k in income to the Bank by developing relationships with Small Business colleagues from the branch network and Key Business Influencers to identify and win business from suitable lending prospects.
