MYOB is a leading business management platform across Australia and New Zealand. With a team of thousands, Employee Experience is a critical part of MYOB's oprating model.As the Employee Experience Helpdesk Team Leader, my role was to lead a team of 12 support specialists that ensured all internal support requirements were being met quickly, and with a high level of satisfaction.In this role, I led the review and replacement of the support workflows and introduced key features on the Zendesk platform that allowed better access to self-service for common tasks, an improved knowledge base for finding assistance and streamlined the ticketing process to ensure support requests were being managed efficiently.At the end of this project, the teamhad increased productivitiy by 22% without droppping below customer satisfaction scores of 95%.This role was primarily a process improvement role, but provided experience in leading leading people - especially on how to lead a team through significant changes.

Engaged to redefine Membership Excellence for New Zealand's engineering community.Engineering New Zealand is the home to 22,000 engineer's who rely on the certification and recognition that being a member provides.My role was to ensure that membership benefits were fit for the member base, easy to interact with and provided real value to engineers through access to education, newsletter and important communications from across the industry.Leading a team of 6 membership experts, the contract was designed to reform the way member's interacted with Engineering New Zealand to meet the needs of a new membership platform that had been implemented.

FitAs was a unique training facility focused on guided, functional movements to promote strength, flexibility and weight control in a safe, planned and supervised environment.FitAs was created to fill a gap in the market where personal training and group fitness intersects. Big name competitors were looking to maximise class size at the cost of personal guidance, but personal trainers cost too much for many people.The FitAs difference was the balance of classes on offer, that were tailored to the individual goals of the attendees. We offered classic HIIT style classes, flexibility and stretch classes, Strength classes and even handstand classes for those wanting to combine the lot.As co-owner of a bootstrapped business, my role covered everything from:* Strategic guidance and planning* Creating promotions and marketing campaigns* Assisting with scheduling and resource management* Running specialised classes* Managing the finacial elements of running a small business* Collaborating with local businesses to find unique joint opportunties to improve community wellbeingSadly the building FitAs was located in was sold, forcing the business to shut down.
