Junior Achievement Business Plan Competition

The JA New York Business Plan Competition (BPC) is an annual competition funded by the ICE NYSE Foundation. I worked in a team of four to create a viable business plan for a product or service. After several rounds, we presented our financials to a panel of judges. With the mentorship of Edelmen, a marketing and public relations company, we competed against more than 125 other teams in the tristate area. I worked in a team of four to create a viable business plan for a product or service. After several rounds, we presented our financials to a panel of judges. With the mentorship of Edelmen, a marketing and public relations company, we competed against more than 125 other teams in the tristate area. My team ultimately made it to the finals three times (placing 4th, 3rd, and 2nd respectively), won a total of $2350 and a trophy for our school, and appeared in the June 4, 2016 Wall Street Journal article “Inside the Battle of Teen Startups.” It was an intensive entrepreneurship experience that taught me graphic presentation and financial literacy.
