Vubiquity is a $130m revenue business-to-business content provider, delivering premium content and technological solutions to video service providers. Originally PE-backed, Vubiquity was acquired by the software and services provider Amdocs ($4bn revenue) in 2018.I was heavily involved in the due diligence and subsequent post merger integration of the 2018 Amdocs acquisition, with my role progressing to VP International Finance and a global remit focused on internal reporting, process improvement, analysis, cashflow, revenue and billing.

My responsibilities as Group FC were to manage the Finance team, be responsible for internal management and statutory reporting (including conversion to FRS102), monitoring and reporting cashflow, ownership of all tax compliance (VAT, WHT and Corporate Income Tax), responsibility for treasury, and developing group consolidations including US GAAP to UK GAAP reconciliations.

My primary responsibilities included overseeing a Finance function of thirteen and a Global Facilities team of seven, with ownership of statutory reporting and consolidation for 17 entities with Group revenues in excess of £130m.Following the acquisition of FTSE by the London Stock Exchange plc my responsibilities incorporated business partnering the Information Services division of LSE (£300m+ annual revenues) of which FTSE was part.

Ownership of Group monthly management reporting and annual business planning process, business partnering with internal consultants, responsible for treasury processes, ownership of the annual statutory audit, and preparation of consolidated Group accounts and all UK tax return submissions.

Working with internal fiduciary teams, maintaining a portfolio of companies in tax efficient structures on behalf of Swiss fiduciary administrators. Producing management and statutory accounts for vehicles (turnover up to c£300m) such as offshore partnerships, nominee structures, companies party to agency agreements or royalty agreements, and companies under various tax-haven jurisdictions.

Supervising audit teams on a wide variety of clients including PLC’s, AIM listed companies, unions, property investment companies, and groups with turnover of up to c£70m.
