I work in the Specialist Disability Services Assessment and Outreach Team, assessing and working with adults with dual diagnosis' (intellectual disability and mental health issues), cognitive impairments, ABI's, FASD and who may be subject to the restrictive practices of seclusion, containment, chemical restraint, physical restraint and restricted access.

Working with people with an Intellectual Disability, who have severely challenging behaviours and who are subject to the restrictive practices of seclusion and containment (also chemical restraint, physical restraint and restricted access to objects)

Working as Nurse Manager in a 130 high care bed, Registered Nursing Home. Clinical oversight of upto 65 residents.

In charge of three 10 bed units in a Nursing Home for people with intellectual disabilities. At this time i was also Chair of the Peak OH&S Committee, Manual Handling Coordinator and Contact Officer for Harassment and Bullying.

I worked as a Deputy Charge Nurse in 'Hillcrest', a community unit for 22 adults with Severe Learning Disabilities and Challenging Behaviours.

I worked as Developmental Educator, Assistant Unit Manager and Unit Manager in various units working with people with varying degrees of intellectual disability.

I worked as Deputy Charge Nurse and Charge Nurse in 'Winifred House', a community unit for young adults with intellectual disabilities and challenging behaviours. I also co-managed a Day Care Centre for 3 months whilst it transitioned to Social Services.
