Andy Wilkinson is a Senior Global Sourcing Planner for Pentland Brands - Canterbury at Pentland Brands. I really appreciate that he has made the effort to travel down to the Nottingham office from Sunderland every month to work alongside the product and development teams to ensure that product production is in line with the critical path and Andy is on hand to solve any issues that may arise along the supply chain. Additionally, by building up great rapport with such teams, Andy can discuss early projects and start planning with vendors ASAP (for example: ensuring that the vendors have capacity and the materials required for the planned mass production). Andy was part of the award-winning team that delivered the Canterbury products for the Rugby World Cup in 2019 which has been a huge success for Pentland.
