Change Manager - Project RocketMlc Life Insurance Apr 2017 - Feb 2018Melbourne, AustraliaLifeView (delivered by Project Rocket) transforms the experience of super funds and their members by providing a secure online portal where they have simple, convenient and transparent access to life insurance.Using LifeView Superfund members can lodge and view the status of digital applications or claims, access needs analysis and premium calculators, check and understand their cover and upload supporting documentation. LifeView also provides a collaborative, web based platform where MLC, Superfund's and Trustees can manage members claims and applications from notification through to decision. LifeView created a significant amount of buzz when it was launched in August 2017 and has helped MLC become a major force in the highly competitive Group Insurance market again. Within a few months of launching LifeView enabled the Group Insurance team to win two tenders and has received fantastic feedback from the existing funds that have adopted the platform and rolled it out to their members. This success was cemented as the Project won the FSC – Best Innovation in Group Insurance award and IDC’s – Financial Insights Innovation award in early 2018.As the Change Manager my day to day role included:- Assessing change impacts, identifying and managing gaps and defining the future state for each part of the business during MLC Life’s transition from NAB to a standalone business- Engaging leaders and building awareness and understanding of the change to increase levels of support, acceptance and commitment by MLC Life people in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne - Working with the Platform & Product Owners to plan, prioritise and execute Change Management activities- Managing and tracking Change Management activities and deliverable's using Jira & Confluence- Developing a ‘fit for purpose’ Learning Approach and delivering F2F training to end users both internally (within MLC) and externally at Super Funds and Administrators in Sydney, Brisbane & Melbourne -
Agile Change ManagerNational Australia Bank Jul 2015 - Mar 2017Melbourne, AustraliaA member of an Agile Change Scrum supporting the modernisation of NAB's digital banking platforms. My primary role was the Change Lead on the Mobile Acceleration project which delivered NAB's new Mobile Banking application for iOS and Android and laid the foundation for a culture of continuous delivery which will enable NAB to fast track delivery of new mobile features in the future.I also oversaw the design and development of a user centered and innovative e-learning simulation of NAB's new mobile app using Adobe Captivate 9.The simulation was designed to be scalable, both guided and self-directed and was designed based on continuous feedback from users gathered via fortnightly showcases. It also replaced traditional, text based work instructions which were not meeting the learners need and were too time consuming to maintain and update. Some of my key achievements include:- Developing, prioritising and grooming a change management backlog through the use of Agile tools and techniques like Discovery, MoSCoW, and Customer Journey Mapping - Working with the Platform and Product owners to prioritise work- Utilising a Change Kanban to manage daily tasks- Applying Customer Centred Design principles to the development of effective engagement, learning and communications solutions- Collaborating closely with Platform and Product owner to develop and support a Take to Market strategy, including the management of a customer and internal Beta program -

Change Management ConsultantOamps Insurance Brokers Jan 2014 - Mar 2014MelbourneEngagement with OAMPS Insurance BrokersI was engaged to assist with the development of a Change Management Framework, which would help deliver the “OAMPS story”, a series of strategic projects and initiatives. Through extensive collaboration and engagement with key stakeholders we successfully developed a framework, based around the core principles of the Prosci ADKAR® methodology, that was closely aligned and integrated with the existing project management delivery model and was customised to reflect the OAMPS values. The final solution included a suite of scalable tools and templates, organisational wide roles and responsibilities in change and a supporting framework of key performance indicators. During this engagement I also carried out a detailed Change Impact Assessment on the projects and initiatives included in the strategic program, summarising his findings in a ‘Change Dashboard’. I was then able to use these findings to highlight anticipated risks and potential barriers to the success of the program, helping the OAMPS Executive Leadership Team make more informed decisions regarding the proposed timing of some projects and to better understand the characteristics of each change and how they would impact the business. -
