In this role I spend the majority of my time speaking to customers on the phone trying to keep product out in the field by analyzing the faults or issues they may be having and resolving these on site. I also help them set up products that they are not able to use or have never used before as well as accessing their systems remotely to set them up. I also help to repair the products that do come back and turn them around as quickly as possible. I help train new members of staff and share my knowledge and experience to help them.

My daily duties included assessing workers work while they go about their daily duties. Completing observations for their portfolio's giving feedback as well as making sure they have a good understanding of the national occupational standards. I had to plan and deliver ITQ training programs and workshops, observe candidates in their workplace I also had to examine candidates' portfolios of evidence. I also questioned candidates to assess how they would deal with non-standard situations I would then sign off the portfolio when all the requirements have been met. I had to keep records of candidates' progress, according to the requirements of the ITQ awarding bodies; I also regularly attended meetings with other assessors as well as working closely with training staff and candidates' line managers. I also took part in IV and EV meetings.
