With over 25 years of ad agency experience, I’ve been responsible for the creative marketing and advertising of many national and global brands and their marketing campaigns. I also have utilized my art direction and design background to help reorganize and revamp everything from brand visions to brand identities for several companies. As a storyteller and strategist at heart, I strive to uncover the simplest and most memorable stories for the brands I work with. Along the way, I’ve won awards for my clients in many major award shows, including Cannes Lions, One Show, D&AD, EFFIE’s, The Clio’s, Webbys, ADDYs, and Communication Arts. I've sat on the board of The One Club and was honored to be a One Show judge on five occasions. In 2018, I left The Martin agency and co-founded It Helps To Play with my wife, Sharon Azula. It Helps To Play (www.ithelpstoplay.com) is dedicated to designing and creating toys and stories that help kids and adult interact more throughout the different stages of growing up. In 2020, I joined Great Minds - a company devoted to elevating the quality of education for all kids everywhere with the simple belief that "every child is capable of greatness."
