I taught English Language on a 1-1 basis in a training school in China. The majority of my students were usually aged between 12-18 who already had a good understanding of English, but were aiming to reach new levels of fluency. I also taught a number of other specialist classes such as BEC (Business English Communications), IELTS (International English Language Testing System) and TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language). Aside from teaching I was also heavily involved with many aspects of the school's business; this included recruiting and mentoring new tutors, meeting with prospective clients and recording educational materials for future use.
