About Andy Couch

I’m Andy and I've been developing websites since 1994.In the mid- to late-90s, I worked for several different local Internet Service Providers and even co-owned one of them. In 2000, I moved on to building and maintaining corporate websites. For the next six years, and two employers, I worked alongside frog, a design consultancy, on multiple projects. In 2007, I joined frog full-time as a Design Technologist, and after 16 years, it was time to leap out of the pond and onto something new. In 2023, I joined the team at Metalab for the next adventure of my career.Over the years, I have worked on countless projects, for some of the largest companies, using numerous frameworks and technologies. Today, I help manage UX development teams while also directly contributing to project work. While my position requires extensive knowledge across a gamut of skill sets, my focus and passion remain on presentation layer front-end web technologies.
