About Andy Farley

My main focus has always been great UX but there is a path to incredible products that goes from digital strategy via product ownership, user research, testing and yes - great UX design. I have done every step along that path, creating some incredible products.I've also created and led UX departments with multi-disciplinary teams. Because I came up via the Dev path I have a systems thinking background that allows me to place great design in context, making sure it works for the user.Brands to shout about: Maersk, nPower Business Solutions, Jaguar Land Rover, JPMorgan Chase, Toyota Europe, United Utilities, Atkins Global, Lexus and many more. Highlights • Led the Booking journey at Maersk - this took $7.6 million per hour.• Redesigned the Shipping Instructions journey for Maersk, taking the pages from the worst on the site (5.3 NPS) to the best (8.3 NPR).• Designed many complex products for Maersk including the Customs Manifest, Container Allocation Tool and Sustainable Procurement journeys. • Created the UX function for part of npower Business Solutions where I made a complex SaaS industrial energy management system useable to non-technical people.• Defined the 5-year Digital Strategy for CO-OP insurance.• Created the UX department for Zuto. • Using demographic targeting and responsive design to uplift click-to-app by 27% for Zuto.• Designed the Jaguar Land Rover intranet.• Created the Digital Strategy for Great Places, a £104m turnover housing group.• Became Head of Technology for JPMorgan INVEST. • Designed the Toyota Europe platform.• Created and led multi-disciplinary teams.Hope to hear from you soon.
