I was responsible for dealing with porting disputes between Vodafone and its resellers and escalated porting complaints from retail customers.• Geographic Location Discovery for Emergency Calls Project: I was the regulatory representative for the UK Government’s project to enable geographic location discovery of emergency calls. This made the UK a leader in the area of emergency call intelligence.• Statistical Research: I managed surveys of consumer opinions on mobile retail and termination rates in order to support my company’s public positions on termination rates. • Wholesale Provision: I advised colleagues on wholesale service provision requirements and compliant product development bearing in mind actual and possible wholesale regulation.• Operational Compliance: I advised colleagues on licence compliance including wholesale service provision requirements and compliant product development bearing in mind actual and possible wholesale regulation.• Internet Commerce Law Compliance: I advised on the modifications needed to product development to make them compliant with e-commerce regulation.• Payments Regulation: I represented the company on an industry committee which lobbied financial regulators to carve out more user-friendly regulation processes for enabling mobile payments.
