Local marketing is tricky for national brands. Balihoo works with brands to solve the problem of local marketing and stand out among all the competition. I develop and maintain local site templates and email templates for top national brands. These templates are high performing and focus on discovery and conversions. They are built using the latest web standards. This includes, HTML, CSS, JS and PHP. The templates that I developed and maintained helped to reduce the time it took to bring clients onto the Balihoo platform from weeks to days.I also worked on Balihoo's platform front end styles, giving the Balihoo engineers the tools they need to focus on developing awesome stuff and not stress about front end code. I developed a standard UI library that described layout patterns and was modeled after the principles of atomic design. It utilized a gulp build process to compile and minify SASS assets so that it could be distributed as a drop in library of UI components.

I design and build websites on a variety of platforms including, wordpress, drupal, dotnetnuke, and static html.I work in Illustrator and Photoshop to produce graphics and mockups that become or are incorporated into website builds.I develop wordpress and drupal themes from scratch using HTML, CSS, Javascript and PHP. These utilize, where appropriate, new methods and technologies related to HTML5 and CSS3. Where necessary these are designed and developed as responsive and optimized for touch devices.

As the Vice President of Web Development I managed the design and development of all website projects. I worked with Clients to develop a specific project scope and brief. I helped define and meet clients goals when building a new web presence. I wire-framed and conceptualized the site structure and flow. I designed the look and feel of web sites. Finally, I managed the development and deployment of websites.Responsibilities: Interactive Design, Development of Drupal themes, Wireframing, Client Relations and Project Scoping.Notable Achievements: Established fulfillment methods and processes for web projects. Transitioned proprietary Drupal modules and services to scalable and maintainable architectures while enhancing the user experience.
