I have spent nearly 20 years trading repo and short-term interest rate markets at a number of investment banks, and for ten years I was an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs in London (2000-2010). I have extensive experience of the European government repo markets, and from 2002 to 2007, I headed-up Goldman Sachs’ cross-divisional European Credit Repo Desk, specializing in corporate, high-yield, and convertible bond repo and securities lending.Since 2014 I have been at the International Capital Market Association (ICMA) where I am a Manging Director and Co-Head of its Market Practice and Regulatory Policy Team, as well as overseeing ICMA's global work related to Secondary Markets and Repo & Collateral Markets. I have also worked as a consultant in the international Aid and Development sector, focusing primarily on social development project design and evaluation, and based mainly in Cambodia. In 2008, I served on the Board of the Cambodian NGO Education Partnership in Phnom Penh, while under a Goldman Sachs Public Service Fellowship.I hold a BSc (Hons) in Business Studies from Bayes Business School (University of London), an MSc in Poverty Reduction & Deveopment Management from the Universty of Birmingham, and in 2023 completed (with 'Exception') MIT's Applied Data Science Program.I am primarily based in London, UK (office), and North Carolina, US (remote).
