AccomplishmentsIn this role I lead an inter-disciplinary team as the project manager and developer in the implementation and customization of an ERP system using Python & Javascript. I was responsible for various aspects of the project and participated in all aspects of the software development life cycle SDLC.I contributed significantly to the implementation gathering of requirements, system design, scripting and creation of inhouse API's to interface with our other platforms.Customization and API work were made with Python and Javascript. The service was hosted in a non-mainstream cloud provider.I used Googles OR-Tools to solve a labour allocation problem that I posed in terms of the multi-knapsack problem.This was made in Python and deployed to a Linux device, triggered on a cron schedule. I created an email notification software system by cross-referencing our Accounts, CRM and ERP via their respective API's. This system would keep our customers up to date on the progress of their order throughout the manufacturing process with regular email updates.This was made in Python and deployed to a Linux device, triggered on a cron schedule. .

Humensity is a tech startup connected to Luxxbox that I contribute to outside of my regular duties.Accomplishments- I have implemented computer vision and data science methods to data from a new IoT product the company is developing.- I also manage our cloud infrastructure in Azure which includes: - An Azure App Service with webjobs and MariaDB - I used this to deploy a PHP web application made for us by a contractor. - IoT Hub and Stream Analytics Job, to manage our IoT Devices and their communications. - Cosmos DB to store and retrieve the IoT data for processing or use in our web application.

I tend to teach mathematical programing, often alongside algebra, calculus, differential equations and statistics/data analysis.As a tutor I present classes and demonstrate the work that has been set for the class. Providing ad-hoc resources (mini-lectures and mathematical programming files) when required.My role outside of the class room involves attending meetings about how the course is progressing and how students are responding to content.I also mark assignments and exams which also involves data entry, giving feedback, and occasionally analytics.In my role I also communicate with students by email to offer them help outside of class time as required.
