CurrentMember of the Applied Technologies Division, a business unit tasked with delivering communication systems of the highest quality and performance level for high-priority customers.Current responsibilities include:• Architect, design and implement high performance software-defined-radio (SDR) hardware for mission critical applications. • Develop highly-configurable radio transceivers that cover the frequency range of 10 MHz to 30 GHz in a single module. Extensive use of tunable RF circuits.• Guide software and FPGA developers to properly implement full system functionality after hardware is complete. • Interface directly with end customers to ensure that performance requirements are understood at the beginning of a project and that excellent radio systems are delivered at the end of a project.• Perform field testing at customer locations to validate prototype radio systems.• Develop signal processing algorithms that can be implemented by software and FPGA engineers.• Implemented a low noise block down converter that covered the range of 6 GHz to 26 GHz, with tunable preselection and a low phase noise PLL architecture.
