Came in early at this Kleiner-funded startup as the VP of Business Development. Came up with a very cool approach that allowed partners to proliferate their brand virally and drive net-new users back to their sites by offering a co-branded social network tools as part of their website or service. Worked like a charm as over 90% of our subscribers ultimately came from partners. Closed major deals with Intel, Lexis, SalesForce, and Hoovers, which ultimately led to our acquisition by D&B, Hoovers parent company. Had a great time, met a lot of really smart creative people, and learned a lot. I miss it.

As one of the first non-engineer hires at Broadbase, I was responsible for the recruitment and management of revenue-producing partners. My success in this role helped Broadbase successfully navigate an IPO and an acquisition by Kana.
