In addition to my role as Director of Golf I have recently assumed responsibilities for the pool and fitness areas at the Club. The additional responsibilities include budgeting, hospitality standards, safety, oversight of the Pool & Fitness Director, and the 15-20 employees and contractors at the facility.

La Rinconada Country Club is an 84 year old private golf club with 425 members. Set in the foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains, La Rinconada has become the premier Private Club in the Silicon Valley. The Club consistently achieves gross revenue of $6.6M of which, Golf Shop sales represent $1.2M.As the Director of Golf my achievements include:• Direct and Manage the golf operations that contribute to the financial success and image of the Club• Hired, Motivated, Educated and Developed the golf operation staff into a team environment, with individual areas of responsibility• Created and Implemented a quality first class merchandise operation generating just under $500K in annual sales while achieving a reputation for outstanding personalized service within a friendly environment• Authored and Implemented a Standards of Service Manual for the Golf Operation that has raised the levels of Member service and greatly improved the consistency of the staff • Developed and Implemented operational budgets and succeeded in achieving significant bottom line results while consistently exceeding budget• Reinvigorated the Major Golf Events by consistently innovating and delivering high quality tournaments. Participation in major events increased by more than 30% over a three year period • Created several instructional programs targeting Members that don’t regularly use the facilities that have resulted in increased participation not only on the golf facilities but throughout the entire Club• Developed and Directed three new Junior Golf Programs that have exceeded expectations of both Members and Staff• Instrumental in the launch of a new interactive Member website

The Peninsula Golf & Country Club is a 100 year old private Country Club with 350 Members. The Peninsula Golf and Country Club is widely known as the only Donald Ross designed golf course west of Colorado. In 2001 the course was renovated and restored to its original design by Ron Forse who specializes in the restoration of Ross courses. As First Assistant Golf Professional my achievements included:• Responsible for purchasing and maintaining all of the hard goods inventory accounting for approximately $225K in annual Member sales• Organized and Managed soft goods inventory accounting for approximately $160K in annual Member sales• Implemented several inventory management procedures that streamlined the receiving and distribution of products• Managed and Scheduled an outside service staff of 10 individuals• Assisted in the creation and execution of a caddie program• Organized and Hosted several Membership golf outings including 7 trips to The Mauna Kea in Hawaii and 1 trip to Southwest Ireland• Responsible for Executing all Member golf events and Corporate outings
