About Andy Tran

I am a technologist who is personable and passionate about solving compute challenges. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of roles, ranging from mail systems administrator to lead solutions architect on business intelligence systems.As a leader, I participate in the technical details & engage in solution solving with the team.As an engineer, I challenge leadership to think critically about the approaches taken with engineering.I am a startup founder, and successfully bootstrapped my consultancy before being purchased. Currently, I'm growing a fashion business with my husband, and will soon be hiring a business manager so that I can return to tech. We are planning to relocate operations to San Francisco to continue to scale the business.Much of my career has been working on highly sensitive (NDA) systems. The technology stacks & problems faced have been diverse.I also enjoy public speaking. I've given talks at WWDC, JS Everywhere, meetups, and internally in my previous positions.
