Global Supply Manager, Mechanicals From April 2015I am the In-Region GSM for Mechanical Commodities, leading a team of 5. The main task includes Supplier sourcing, contract and price negotiations, driving the suppliers for capacity planning in the early phase of the project, and bringing them through to the plans that will meet our peak demand forecast, even with 20% upside. One area I developed well over the few months was the relationship with the Management team of the suppliers so that Google as a whole has visibility at the Executive level within the Supplier.Acted as the Supplier Relationship Manager within the Google team for the escalations on performance and delivery issues.

Global Contract Manufacturing Manager May 2014 ~ April 2015My primary role is the Global Contract Manufacturing Manager, based in Asia. My responsibility is working with the Contract Manufacturers on the areas of master purchase agreement, contracts, pricing, business strategy and supplier relationship. Had supported the Procurement team in MtV in pricing negotiations with CM and equipment & fixture suppliers.

- Responsible for Extended Factory manufacturing management and execution, including materials planning, logistics, supply base, contract manufacturing management, and factory quality.- Lead a team of 10 PM for the Management of Contract Manufacturer in Singapore and Malaysia.- Key responsibilities include order management, buying and building of modules or systems within our contract manufacturing partners.- Prepare the supply chain and manages continuity of material supply, delivery and quality ensuring no shortages, delays or quality issues- Manages total cost and supply continuity risk mitigation throughout product lifecycle. - Drives the revenue attainment, delivery metrics, and factory quality of Outsourced Manufacturing Partner.- Builds strong relationships with the Outsourced Manufacturing Partner.- Interacts cross-functionally at the Director/VP levels both internal and external to Applied.

· Managed the Materials Dept for Hi-P Shanghai Technology Ltd, consisting of the Order Fulfilment, PMC, Procurement/Sourcing, Warehouse and Customs sections.· This is a regional Supply Chain Management role where I oversee 3 facilities in different sites in Shanghai and Su Zhou. · Primary function is to direct and manage all of the activities for procurement of materials, inventory control and management, management of the approved vendor base, and build plan fulfillment.· Engage with engineering and R&D Dept on sourcing solutions to support new product launches, as well as Make vs Buy strategies. · Take lead in identification and the approval process of suppliers with new technology, and meeting our required standards. Drives and executes global strategic sourcing strategy for the Sub-contract manufacturers, and indirect procurement.

· Based in Tian Jin to manage the Plant Operations, running projects for our major customers Motorola and Samsung. The Departments I oversee include the 3 major Production Departments (Molding, Spray Painting, Assembly), Engineering Support, Program Management Department, and the whole SCM Department.· I own the P&L responsibility for the Plant. Prioritizes production schedule based on inventory needs, new product introduction, machinery efficiency and resource optimization. Direct activities to ensure products are manufactured on schedule within quality compliance set. Ensure inventory is operating at levels which meet customer’s needs and satisfaction, at the same time, making sure proper financial controls are achieved.· Manages the Plant’s facilities utilization and maintainance, as well as the total manpower, which is more than 3000 employees. · Revenue for the Plant is ~ SGD$250 million per year.

• Managed the Project Management Department for all the Global projects with our major OEM Motorola. The Department is responsible for liaison with customers, in both local and overseas offices and the key contact window with clients for all NPI Project preparations and related issues, and follow through the models from MP till EOL. • Lead a Wireless Division cross functional team that include Sales, Quality team, and Engineering Teams from Metal Stamping, Injection Molding, Spray painting and Assembly, Procurement, Production and Material Control, Manufacturing and Quality Team to develop strategies for key projects to improve overall scorecard performance including quality. • In 2007~2008, we were running 18 projects, the highest number awarded by OEM customer. Total value of projects worth is more than S$340 million.

• Based in Shen Zhen, I am the Lead Program Manager for the Division’s OEM customers, such as DELL, IBM, NEC, Lang Chao and nVidia graphics, and heading this Business Division in the DVT, EVT and PVT planning and preparations activities to support integration with customer’s strategy.• Lead and manage the OEM Division Engineering Department consisting of the Manufacturing Project Management Team, the Manufacturing Engineering Team (Process), the Product/Test Engineering Team, and the Industrial Engineering Team. • Lead the cross functional teams that include Sales, Procurement, Production and Material Control and Quality Team to develop strategies and key projects to improve overall scorecard performance, including quality. Led the Team to complete 5 projects to achieve improvement in business process, reducing operation cost by USD$50k per month.

• Product roadmap planning, product specifications and marketing activities for Imaging products like Webcams and Digital Still Camera. Carry out product planning and development, identified, set-up and negotiated strategic alliance with contract manufacturers and key tooling and packaging vendors for ODM and OEM projects.• Achieved a shorter lead time from Project kick-off to delivery, from 7 months to 5 months, a reduction in product cost of ~20% by getting to the component suppliers directly.
