In 2005, he won the CableFax CEO Faxies award.As the President of ONI, Paff led the development and launch of fiber optic last mile broadband products that became known as HFC (Hybrid Fiber Coax). ONI’s success led to a fundamental change in the approach cable operators’ used to deploy networks and, more importantly, enabled a variety of interactive data services that define the industry today.
