I am experienced, pragmatic, senior corporate attorney with more than 20 years’ experience counseling clients and business leaders on a variety of legal matters. Areas of focus include technology transactions, mergers & acquisitions and international transactions. I also have some experience in antitrust, litigation management, intellectual property, cryptocurrency, data privacy and enterprise risk management. I am based in Atlanta, Georgia.For 16+ years, until November 2020, I worked as corporate counsel and then General Counsel for BCD Travel, a privately held global corporate travel, travel technology and consulting company. At BCD, I counseled our Executive Team and other business leaders on all legal matters affecting our business with a focus on technology transactons, mergers and acquisitions and other strategic transactions, intellectual property, data privacy and litigation management. I managed a legal team of 25 attorneys, paralegals and staff globally.Prior to BCD, I was an attorney for the law firm of Kilpatrick Townsend, based in Atlanta, Georgia, where I practiced in the corporate and technology transactions department. While at Kilpatrick, my primary focus was on technology transactions, mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital matters.I earned my B.A. with honors in Philosophy from Brown University and my J.D. from Tulane Law School.
