Engaged the software vendor to clearly define the management information and reporting requirements as well as demonstrate the capability of a similar system at another customer. o Worked with BAA Security Compliance and specialist suppliers to develop lower cost proposals for a perimeter intrusion detection system using high specification thermal imaging and fence detection as part of an airport move to full critical part status. o Delivered the common services for a new control post at Edinburgh airport, which included a new X-ray, body scanner, fibre network, and significant upgrade to the CCTV platform to cope with the additional security requirements.
