Service Delivery Manager
CurrentHealth Workforce Queensland (HWQ) is a not-for-profit Agency focused on ensuring remote, rural and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities have access to highly skilled and culturally competent health professionals when and where they need them, now and into the future.As the Service Delivery Manager, I lead the three Service Delivery Units to deliver business strategies and high-quality services focused on increasing access to a highly-skilled, culturally competent primary healthcare workforce in remote and rural communities that need it the most. Some of my responsibilities are:Provide strategic and operational advice to the Deputy CEO and Leadership Team.Lead Service Delivery Units to ensure the HWQ Vision and organisational goals are achieved, and the organisational values are applied in all operations.Develop business capability and capacity to deliver prioritised services or outcomes through effective program and project management.Manage tracking and reporting for priority areas, programs, funding obligations, and management requirements.Prepare business cases, proposals and reports relevant to the activities, performance, growth and development of HWQ’s health workforce solutions.Create and maintain effective and influential relationships across different internal teams and external stakeholders, with people and communities from different cultural and linguistic backgrounds.Engender a positive work culture by supporting and promoting positive behaviours and processes that encourage professional and responsive interactions within and between teams and work groups.
