• Review and analyze all MEP drawings, materials, schedules, program of works, etc; Co-ordinate all electro-mechanical activities with various teams on site/design office.• Coordinating between MEP and Civil Drawings at the site/design office.• Ensure that all civil obstructions have been cleared to MEP contractor to proceed with MEP activities • Ensure that no conflict may happen between civil and MEP team. • Coordinate with temporary connection team to provide power /water where required. • Ensure a harmonious working relationship between the Contractor and the Consultants, understanding that open communication and team work are to be promoted and that an adversarial management style will be detrimental to the project.• Lead the composite coordination drawing process and facilitate problem solving, as may arise between MEP Subcontractors during the coordination drawing process.• Validate design issues and develop suggested alternative solutions.• Assistance to design and construction team as appropriate.• Assist the design team in resolution of MEP issues.• Log and post all MEP changes and as built information on field drawings.• Assist the Project Director with scope review, budgeting and justification of MEP change order work.• Collaborate with project managers in identifying and flagging technical MEP issues.• Lead periodic on site coordination meeting with the Subcontractors/Consultants/Project Management/Clients.• Monitor the progress of all the works conducted in order to ensure that any possible delays or issues are dealt with in a timely manner and at minimum cost to the company.• Take responsibility for and manage the various stages of the design process expediently, economically and efficiently.• Raising RFIS for technical information from consultant.• Releasing the Approved shop/Coordination/Builders work drawings to site. .
