• Working as a Desktop Planner I am responsible for providing plans and designs supporting FTTP solutions on major network projects for Flomatik’s customers, such as Virgin Media and TalkTalk. My main duties include:
• Planning and prioritisation of FTTP planning work activities requirements within a geographic region using QGIS as a design tool.
• Accurate completion of all planned submissions in a timely manner, including Civils plan, Fibre Allocation Sheet, Bills of Material, SLDs etc.
• Highlight and escalate major design variances through the project team
• Flexible approach in dealing with amendments to planned information
• Identify special engineering difficulties (SED) and appropriate mitigation within the designed region

Flomatik has been appointed to provide specialist design services on a major network build project carried out by Virgin Media. My role is to capture the planned network designs into GDesigner, produce straight-line diagrams (SLD), collect statistics from a variety of Utility Companies and information about street works (NRSWA). Working under strict.

My responsibilities included the collection of samples from a rotary drilling rig drilling network of six boreholes up to 250m depth, and preparation for chemical analysis for potential presence of copper, aiming at the expansion of the mine.
