I’m an international experienced strategic sourcing manager with a broad base within strategic sourcing, both direct and indirect as well as logistics and the full supply chain structure. I have been working in the international arena throughout my career.As a person I’m very focused, professional and often been said to be fair. I’m open minded and straightforward with a good sense of reality and humour in the mix. I’m result oriented and keen to always keep the overall picture in mind in every day work as in projects.To lead cross-functional team is a challenge one I can safely say that I live up to, with experience of quality, R&D, operations etc. Also the cross-cultural settings in a team give the edge that sparks the motivation to successfully drive the team to its goals of the project. It’s important to ensure that all members are onboard, it’s important to be clear and to have a structure and not to be afraid of conflicts, the important part is to ensure that the conflict if happen, is turned into a positive outcome.Another key strength is my vendor management skills to successfully build a long term partnership that holds, with strong result in high quality, performance and spend and not to forget savings opportunities and savings targets, again here is the importance of the overall picture to ensure that all parts on both sides are present to have a good solid base to stand on.In all aspects of my work I work closely with continuous improvement and change management, there is always room for improvements and you should never be content always strive to move upwards and forward, and to enjoy the ride along the way.
