• Administration of the Congress Centre’s computer and communications networks and maintenance of all software and hardware; periodically expanding and upgrading the network, including creation of new nodes and laying structural cabling; setting up specific expansions or adjustments to the system based on the needs of individual conferences being held at the Congress Centre.• Installation and maintenance of both basic and professional application software, guaranteeing the smooth operation of the central servers and of personal workspaces.• Administration of the Antivirus and Antispam protection systems. • Securing and overseeing the proper use of all externally-acquired software at network level and of all end-point copies. • Conducting inventories of computer equipment and peripherals. • Developing and updating of procedures relating to the proper use of the available IT resources, services, systems and communication infrastructure.• Periodically carrying out trainings and consultations with employees related to the proper use of the software and hardware products within the company, including in departmental working groups.• Ensuring the efficacy and usability of the computer equipment used by company employees.• Responsibility for maintaining the confidentiality and security of all data, as well as the reliable functioning of the information and communications systems. • Compliance with internal regulations, as well as with professional secrecy.• Responsibility for selecting appropriate software and hardware products for the I.T. needs the Congress Centre, including in an advisory capacity to the Board of Directors.• Performing any other tasks related to the areas of activity of Information Technology and within the competence of the post of Systems Administrator.
