    As part of a major change program the project brief was to move all Justice Windows 7 staff onto a shared platform with shared systems. Justice agencies across metro, greater metro and regional NSW encompassed Corrective Services (Juvenile Justice, Community Corrections and Correctional Centres), Courts Tribunals and Service Delivery (Supreme, District and Local Courts supporting Judges and Magistrates), and Law Reform and Legal Services (Anti-Discrimination Board, Legal Services Council, Public Defenders and Crown Solicitor’s Office, amongst others). Support of these agencies was provided by internal departments under the umbrella of Court Services.Over the life of the project 18,562 staff utilising 16,217 devices across 404 NSW locations were successfully transitioned to Windows 10 and Office 365, despite the numerous challenges thrown up by floods, bushfires, mouse plagues, COVID-19 impacts and the subsequent world-wide computer hardware shortage.

    NSW Trustee and Guardian (July 2019 to October 2019)Following the successful deployment of the pilots (one of which was the Public Guardian), I moved into the NSW Trustee and Guardian team to oversee the remainder of the roll-out across their metro, regional and rural locations. This role required extensive stakeholder and change management, building commitment and ensuring the user education that accompanies a system change of this nature was in place.Department of Justice, (December 2018 - July 2019)The responsibility of the project team was to build the new Windows 10 standard operating environment and deploy this as a pilot to a selected number of business units within Justice before the end of the FY18-19. Delivery activities involved overseeing the project team (16 deployment team members plus an additional 4 IT specialist consultants) to ensure timely development, testing and deployment of the initial Windows 10 standard operating environment (SOE, including all subsequent iterations) and its supporting infrastructure. As well - managing the procurement process for new hardware and peripherals, daily and weekly engagement with internal and external stakeholders and vendors, preparing and supporting cultural change, communications and training activities designed to underpin the transition, data migration and roll-out, and the handover of the new SOE and supporting documentation to the BAU Operations team at completion.
