A Healthcare professional with advanced experience in international standards and hospital assessments for quality and patients' safety -working as an international assessor for more than 13 years for international accreditation bodies (Temos International, Germany and EIAC, UAE). She has been working as a Consultant for WHO Europe, Quality and Patient Safety Office since 2021, assigned to national projects for value based care metrics and patient safety in Romania and in Moldova. She is the scientific responsible for wide-scale national projects in Greece including the situational analysis and the development of a national roadmap for quality and patient safety in the hospitals settings for the ministry of health.Business planning and networking activities in the accreditation and certification sector, training in international standards for qualitative healthcare services and safe cross-border care, including training of accreditation assessors have been the main focus over the 13+ years of her experience in various countries as Germany, Cyprus, Croatia, Turkey, Brazil, Philippines, UAE, China, Hungary, Ukraine, Iran, Albania and Greece. With the aim to enhancing patients' safety awareness and to promoting quality initiatives in healthcare, she founded a non for profit organisation, the Euro-mediterranean Institute for Quality and Safety in Healthcare, with the aspiration to create a knowledge exchange network and connect healthcare professionals with the same vision.An experienced business manager of certification services on international level, and an internationally active consultant and tutor for value-based care, standards, patients' safety, risks' management, quality, and management systems. She has been participating in various consultancy projects and surveys for the development of quality standards and assessment frameworks in healthcare (e.g. quality mapping tools, tele-health) which is the main focus of her scientific work.
