Angela Bowzer is the Senior Research Associate for Alignment Evaluation in Assessment Research and Innovation at WestEd. Dr. Bowzer leads WestEd's alignment evaluations, supporting the alignment needs of states and education organizations. She recently conducted a comprehensive alignment-focused literature review and continues to translate that research into practice by applying current knowledge of education system alignment evaluations and peer review needs to the design, development, and direction of WestEd’s alignment study projects. Dr. Bowzer works with clients to determine their alignment needs, drafts process descriptions, and finalizes scopes of work. During each project, she trains project staff, manages their work, and writes technical reports for clients presenting study findings and recommendations.
