I am a healthcare biotechnologist from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. During my third year of Biotechnology degree, I participated in the Erasmus program at the University of Helsinki. There, I completed my internship at the Pharmacology laboratory under the supervision of Dr. Virpi Talman, the principal investigator in the Cardiology group. Upon completing my internship, I was offered a research assistant contract in Dr. Qasim A. Majid's project. I participated in the organization, development, and execution of the study on cardiomyocyte proliferation through pre-conditioned hypoxic endothelial cells.During my stay in Helsinki, I had extensive exposure to basic research and learned about the discipline, teamwork, and precision required in this field. Furthermore, I was able to improve my English through full immersion in a professional environment.After completing my degree, I discovered the world of Clinical Trials and Medical Affairs. I decided that CESIF was an excellent place to begin my training in this field. Currently, I am pursuing a Master's in Clinical Trials Monitoring and Medical Affairs.I am seeking a company to conduct my internship and begin my career in the field of clinical research. I am eager to learn and thrive in a positive work environment. I believe that my eagerness will enable me to be efficient in learning the ways of working in this industry, as well as develop the necessary social skills.I am excited to start and gradually grow in the pharmaceutical industry
