Burroughs’ Service Technicians will install, maintain, and service multi-vendor equipment at customer locations in response to assigned service calls and within established service level agreement (SLA) periods. Customer and vendor equipment typically includes banking and cash automation equipment, self-service devices, and other OEM devices. Successful candidates will possess impeccable personal integrity, excellent customer service skills, technical aptitude, and an ability to operate as a team player. Key Responsibilities: Installs, maintains and services cash automation equipment at assigned customer locations, Diagnoses and resolves product performance problems, Ensures customer satisfaction through excellent follow through and communication with customers and Burroughs Team Members Maintains tools and parts inventory in a secure and accurate fashion.Minimum Requirements: Technical aptitude or interest in learning to repair electronics and electro-mechanical components in complex machinery, Positive attitude and a passion for customer service, Impeccable personal integrity and business ethics, Independent and teamwork skills, Self-motivated and well-organized, Good oral and written communication skills. High School Diploma or GED (Associates Degree is a plus), Must be at least 18 years of age, Must hold a valid US driver’s license, Ability to lift and/or move equipment weighing up to 75 pounds, Previous experience with multi-vendor ATMs, and cash automation equipment is a plus

Provide first and second line maintenance for ATMs and safes performing major repairs and preventive maintenance on a variety of financial equipment. Perform projects and installation support as needed and work on PC and PC peripheral equipment. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following, but not limited to: -Prioritizing and planning service calls.-Contacting customers with estimated time of arrival (ETA) and providing updates as required.-Directly communicating with customers to provide call updates and resolution.-Provide first line maintenance on ATMs to include:-Troubleshooting of problems.-Clearing of paper jams, card jams, bill jams, deposit jams, etc.-Maintenance of ATMs including replacement of consumable materials, belts, and air filters, feed parts, assemblies, etc.-Clean equipment exterior and interior on each service call.-Provide repairs and preventive maintenance on a variety of financial equipment including ATM's, Safe's, drive-up/conventional equipment, check sorters/proof machines, scanners, smart safes and small equipment.-Perform simple and complex installation functions including pulling cable, anchoring/mounting of equipment, installing locks, configuring equipment and provide training to customers.-To perform onsite emergency & preventive maintenance on equipment within an assigned area.-Maintain sufficient parts inventory and submit biannual inventory reports.
