Manage brand inventory levels for 100+ SKU's, working with both internal and external manufacturing partners on production plans. Prepare master production schedule utilizing APO, PP/DS and Supply Network Planning consistent with plant capacity, providing finished goods to meet projected forecasts at a minimum cost. Provide monthly forecast visibility, creating purchase orders and ensuring deadline are met.Work with internal stakeholders to ensure forecasted volumes are accurate. Provide details on potential supply disruptions and plans forward. Drive discussions on items for potential discontinuation, balancing short dating vs order/batch size. Participate in cross functional teams including, Brand, Marketing, R&D to prepare for potential new item launches. Provide working knowledge of contract manufacture operations and procedures. Update master data elements to ensure we are ready to launch. Provide launch quantity estimates and purchase orders.

Responsibility for developing and maintaining collaborative relationship with external replenishment partners. This included responsibility for the daily operation of our VMI (vendor managed inventory) using both our partners system (E3) and our internal JDA system to maintain weeks of supply targets and create purchase orders. Analyze and address item level forecasts to optimize the supply chain service levels vs weeks of supply. A strong working relationship with my external partners allowed me to be a strong driver in influencing buying decisions. One big win was influencing our partner to allow us to drive the seasonal strategy which minimized upfront buying, allowing for inventory to be more optimally placed at retail when needed and reduced the amount of inventory burn/out date at the end of the season. The strategy was seen as successful and modeled in future seasons. Oversee the KPI performance and provide results in monthly scorecard meetings. Communicate any items that experienced supply disruption and a suggested path forward. Influenced internal allocation for items in short supply, relaying the needs of customers demand, including ad buying. Managed the monthly forecast cycle, driving alignment with sales to include our 12 month rolling forecast. This included pulling a item level forecasts from our retailers systems, as well as ad systems to come up with an all inclusive forecast. Made recommendations based on POS run rates and customer demand/pulls.
