About Angie Gregory

Sustainability has been core to my profession for over 20 years. I bring contemporary relevancy to the discipline with an M.S. in Sustainability Science. I have experience in municipal, academic, community, and business sectors.I established the first compostable diaper service in the state of Massachusetts, facilitated UMass Amherst in becoming the first US institution to deliver the Carbon Literacy Project training internally. As a researcher in academia, I supported multiple new initiatives that brought together research, business, and community for projects related to sustainability. I have demonstrated an ability to initiate, catalyze, and manage emerging projects and develop businesses.I gravitate towards engagement with values-aligned entities who recognize the importance of systematic change to address today's interconnected issues. There is no environmental justice without restorative justice and anti-racism work at the forefront. I take an inclusive leadership approach to facilitation and seek out diverse stakeholders for input.
