The Sales Tax Analyst is responsible for performing various audit & detection functions in order to assist in the correction of taxpayer reporting errors for cities, facilitate corrective action of detected errors, and special projects for department. Including, but not limited to: -internet research -ability to handle manage high outbound call volume -assist auditors with county boundaries and address verification-field audits (physical canvass and evaluation of businesses) -permitization audits (identifying and correcting improperly registered permits for companies) -deficiency assessment audits (detect and correct possible payment deficiencies)-discover delinquencies -special projects for clients-excellent customer service for our clients.
