I've been an educator for 34 years and have many more years to go! Joining Varsity Tutors, a Nerdy company, is a career move that is motivating and exciting. I'm energetic, experienced, communicate well, easily lead people, task driven, and organized. I taught as a classroom teacher for twenty years, served as an elementary principal for nine years, and presently work as the Human Resource Officer for Wakulla County Schools. I am the President elect for Florida Association of School Personnel Administrators (FASPA), serve on Florida State University's Educational Preparatory Advisory Board, a member of Leadership Florida, work as the district liaison with local agencies and charities, serve as the Chief Negotiator for the school district, and work closely with the Superintendent of Wakulla County Schools on decision making. I was elected as Teacher of the Year at the beginning of my teaching career while in Seminole County, elected as Teacher of the Year in Wakulla County, and elected as Administrator of the Year twice, also while in Wakulla County. I am well versed with educational practices, leadership development, and academic standards. My role as Chief Human Resource Officer has allowed me the opportunity to form professional relationships with fellow educators throughout the state of Florida. I love education and the opportunity to help others.
