Art House 310 is a dream in the making! Art House 310 is a space for visual artists. Our mission is to help expand the arts in Wichita and be a resource for all artists alike. Owned and operated by Angie & Rhett Evans, Art House 310 is a (likely never-ending) work in progress to become a space for art exhibitions, workshops, group shows and eventually the ability to offer private rentable art studios. We believe in Wichita. We believe in art. We believe some of the best talent is right in our back yard!We decided to buy-in to this life ... literally. We sold our home, rented a loft in Old Town and used our own private investment to start building this dream. After what felt like an eternity of looking for a location, including 3 other property deals that weren’t meant to be ... Art House 310 finally has a home! We chose a location just off the beaten path to hopefully be a part of further growth in our downtown area. Our necessities included: space (but not too much), a close to downtown proximity, an inviting street presence, and blank exterior wall space for murals to help drive traffic to this “off the beaten path” area. What looks like a plain, old little warehouse to some, looked like a future to us!We are so excited to see how Art House 310 will evolve!

Angie Evans is a native Wichitan who has been producing original artwork for over 20 years. Her passion started with black and white photography at a young age and ultimately grew into a business. In 2014, Angie made the tough decision to step away from her primary photography business to focus her time on her family and other art. Despite this, she can still be found with a camera in her hand quite often. Angie attended Johnson County Community College, Wichita State University and Wichita Area Technical College and studied marketing, graphic design, photography and general studies. Through her professional career, Angie has been an influential part of many companies working in commercial printing, strategic marketing, graphic design, web design, photography and multi-media design and production. Angie’s design and commercial work can be seen in both international and local advertising for a wide array of products and companies while her photography work can be seen displayed by numerous individuals as well as published in The International Library of Photography’s “America At the Millennium; Best Photos of the 20th Century”.Angie is a former Gallery XII Artist member and the youngest member ever to be inducted at that time. Being a proficient artist in several different mediums, Angie’s most recent passion is for acrylic abstract fluid painting. She has also begun creating handmade jewelry and house-ware items that mimic the fluidity of her paintings.“Painting is my time to have the freedom to create art without the demands of a client. My inspiration comes from color, texture and movement within a piece.”Angie has been involved in the local Final Friday Gallery Walk. She has displayed both paintings and photography in numerous exhibitions over the years. This company went under new ownership in 2010.

I was a member of an Artist owned co-op gallery. I produced new works to be displayed and sold within the gallery and for outside works rentals. I participated in monthly meetings and was on the board for Marketing and Advertising. I designed several marketing pieces while at the gallery and helped build the Gallery XII website.

Focusing on children's sports photography, I designed and created new products, color corrected images and managed a staff as well as a large scale photographic processing system. I also would oversee vital operations to the company as well as the franchisee community. This company closed in 2006.
