The network describes it as a "blue chip natural history series revealing the rarely-seen magic along the longest river system in the United States."

We coordinated all outdoor programming for the network for over 25 years at JM Associates and served as an extension of the network to manage production companies all over the country producing programming for the network. I was also on-camera talent and host of Cumberland Stories in ESPN2 and co-host of ESPN2 Outdoors.In 1990, I was part of a leadership group that created the ESPN Great Outdoor Games which featured competition among the best in the world in five sports in a four-day event featuring fishing, timber events, shooting, and sporting dogs. We produced 17 hours of original programming for ESPN, ESPN2 and ABC. I also wrote and shot photos and video for ESPNoutdoors.com and Bassmaster.com.
