Undertaking fieldwork and artefact analysis for clients within Australia and overseas. Recent project work includes undertaking a test pit assessment on an Island in Little Hawke Lake, and a shoreline assessment on the banks of Lake Wenoa, Haliburton, Canada. Projects include:Senior archaeologist running excavations for MACH Energy Mount Pleasant NSW.Monitoring and excavation for Power Link on the historic Tivoli to Mt Crosby Tramway (including fieldwork and artefact report).Mauls Creek project for Whitehaven Coal.Senior archaeologist: Working with a team of archaeologists, Traditional Owners and representatives on Whitehaven Coal's Maules Creek mine site, Boggabri NSW. Complex archaeological salvage works, undertaken under an endorsed management plan, with Whitehaven Coal and 122 Kamilaroi representatives.Working pursuant to community consultation protocols endorsed by the Office of Environment and Heritage and the Department of Planning and Infrastructure (NSW). Running archaeological excavations. Salvaging extensive artefact scatters with the identification of and recording of lithic artefacts using differential GPS and digital photography. Identification of new sites through survey and test pitting. Running open area excavations and training participants in a range of excavation methods and survey equipment. The training of recent University Graduates in feature specific excavation methods relevant to various archaeological features. All work undertaken under close consultation with senior Kamilaroi representatives and Elders, as well as Whitehaven senior management.Completion of legislative documentation with further mitigation recommendations (in agreement with Kamilaroi representatives) for the Office of Environment and Heritage NSW.

Photography of artefacts for archive and publication purposes including popular archaeological publications.Liaising with external specialists and other clients.Project leader/supervisor of field work projects on a range of site types from the prehistoric,Roman period, medieval and later periodsFrom Cotswolds Archaeology: Angus has more than 12 years’ experience in commercial archaeology, both abroad and the UK,and is fully conversant with the demands of focused and cost- effective analysis and reporting in the commercial sector. He has written many client finds reports, and also for both monograph and journal publications. His expertise covers the Roman and medieval periods, including the pottery of the Midlands, and post-medieval and early modern material, where his research interests lie in ceramics, metal and glass.

Production of specialist reports on artefact assemblages including grey literature reports and contributions to monograph and Journal publications, Organisation of small and large assemblages from initial excavation through to processing, sorting and quantification, Leading of fieldwork projects and supervision of archaeological excavations as required. St Peter's Church Powick (Investigation and recording of medieval features and recording of a 19th century burial chamber). Archaeologist on a substantial number of other sites within the West Midlands, dating from the Roman, medieval and post- medieval periods.
