I obtained Bachelor of Science in Physics from the honors program at the Faculty of Physics, Hanoi National University of Education, Hanoi, Vietnam, in 2009. After working at the Institute of Physics-Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, I went to the USA to study the graduate school. I graduated Master of Applied Physics at the University of South Florida in 2012 and PhD in Physics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2018. Since November 2018, I am a faculty member and research group leader at the Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering at Phenikaa University. I received a two-year research fellowship awarded by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) between April 2019 and March 2021. I conducted a research project granted by the National Foundation for Science Development (NAFOSTED-Vietnam) as a Principal Investigator from 2020 to 2022. My research interests are developing theoretical models and machine/deep learning algorithms to investigate (1) plasmonic properties of low-dimensional materials and nanostructures; (2) harvesting solar energy; (3) structural relaxation of polymer, metallic glasses, organic materials, and amorphous drugs under different compression effects and in the presence of interface; (4) physical stability, solubility, and diffusion of drugs.
