“The only way to do great work is to love what you do” – Steve Jobs I am currently a Senior in College of Business (CBA) at University of Illinois at Chicago pursuing a major in Information and Decision Sciences (IDS) with a concentration in Management Information Systems (MIS) and a minor in Finance. From 2016 – 2018, I attended University of Manitoba with a purpose of pursuing a BA degree in Accounting. As I had opportunities to interact with QuickBooks and TurboTax while pursuing an Accounting degree, I realize my interest in internet business application grows tremendously. It’s truly outstanding how far tech has come to change the way we conventionally do things.Bearing a growing interest in technology, I decided to find a program that would have what I am both good at and passionate about. That’s when I stumbled upon Information and Decision Science at University of Illinois at Chicago, which focuses on the study of leveraging information technology system to make lasting value business decision.
