My name is Ani. I'm a journalist. As a person who tends to be around people I have realized that journalism is my ultimate passion, I have learned how to work under pressure, how to makeup interview questions in limited time, how to seek information and how to present them to the reader, viewer through efficient content, I also have learned how to always consider and respect the reader’s mind. I have always enjoyed seeking the truth and eagerly waiting for answers.I have been working at one of the top online media in Armenia, CivilNet TV since 2013. I cover a variety of topics, ranging from social, political, economic issues, to human rights and civil society. I also manage and produce a feature show called “From Your Pocket,” which has become one of CivilNet’s most popular programs.I have a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations Studies from the European Regional Educational University. I hold a diploma in International Relations, which helps me to have a broader view of the stories that I cover. Besides, I'm also dedicated to video, text production and copy writing. I've collaborated with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) as a journalist for the creation of the book "RESTART: Syrian Armenians Planting Their Entrepreneurial Spirit in Armenia". In the book I wrote the stories of 5 Syrian Armenians who succeeded in Armenia. I am also a freelance journalist for the Caucasus regional media, Chai Khana. Recently I started my own project with three other journalists, where we dedicate our time to produce multimedia content-documentaries, video stories and texts. I’m based in Yerevan, Armenia but being a passionate traveler, I take any chance to quench my wanderlust in Europe and Middle and draw insights and inspiration for my job.
