About Aniel Autar

I am an all-round legal professional (i.e. a civil-law notary and trusted advisor) who mainly focuses on corporate law and estate planning. An increasing part of my international corporate practice is related to Indian, Russian and Chinese clients/markets. Due tomy OCI-status (Overseas Citizenship of India) I am able to provide a broader set of services to Dutch companies and entrepreneurs who aim for conducting business with Indian companies and vice versa. Next to being a civil-law notary, I am a former deputy judge in the appeal court mainly concerned with commercial, family and inheritance law matters. Further to that, I give lectures at various (postgraduate) courses. As a columnist, I regularly contribute to various magazines, newspapers and other (semi-) legal papers. Finally, I am aneditor of the books: 'Compendium Estate Planning', ‘Compendium Samenwonen’ (cohabitation), ‘Compendium Echtscheiding’ (divorce), ‘Compendium Levenstestament’ (living will and rules governing willful misconduct) and ‘Compendium Familie Erfgoedstrategie’ (Family heritage strategy).
