Debug Enhancements:Developed a feature that recreates a hardware setup, dumps the registers from the DUT to NAND after failure in firmware for debug.Wrote Python scripts to extract the dump and parse it to pin-point point of failure in firmware.Feedback Based Thermal Controller:Modeled a closed loop digital Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) control logic on Excel.Implemented the control logic in FW which effectively cools down the drive before it reaches throttling temperature thresholds, thus saving overheating of the drive and better performance and longevity of the NAND cells.
