IT Specialist with 5+ years of experience, combining a deep technical skill set with extreme versatility & a strong willingness to learn.At Ubiweb I am solely responsible for managing 2600+ clients and 100 employees, with my external support covering everything from DNS & SSL to cloud infrastructure (M365, Google Workspace). My internal support at Ubiweb involves Apple MDM, macOS, CRMs, automation tools (APIs, SaaS) amongst other things. One of my proudest accomplishments was spearheading Ubiweb's office relocation only 5 months into my tenure; I was trusted with handling everything tech-related, ranging from Internet & WiFi installation and cabling to a robust alarm security system, cameras, TVs, projectors and even a fully-fledged music system.My BA from Concordia University in Western Society and Culture gives me a unique perspective in the IT industry, blending technical precision with critical thinking, creative problem-solving & expert communication skills which were honed further at my previous sales and customer support roles. My multidisciplinary thesis kick-started my transition into IT, which was focused on the history of cryptography & Bitcoin, blending elements of internet history, Austrian economics, post-modern philosophy of language and linguistics. An internship at MLG Blockchain deepened my interest in emerging tech, where I also taught others about blockchain and cryptocurrencies.Previous roles at TELUS and EBOX built my foundation in technical support, driving my decision to quit my excellent job and return to school for an AEC in Network and System Administration from John Abbott College. This sharpened my skills in network management, coding, DevOps, and cybersecurity, while giving me the confidence that I needed to pursue greater things.I thrive on embracing new challenges, always eager to grow and contribute.
