I have over 10 years of experience in preclinical research, specializing in animal models, including rats, for studying cisplatin-induced nephrotoxicity, isoproterenol-induced myocardial necrosis, cardiac hypertrophy, ischemia-reperfusion (IR) induced myocardial infarction, and streptozotocin-induced type II diabetes mellitus. I am skilled in scientific research project management, scientific writing, data analysis, presentation skills, and team leadership. I led a project that demonstrated the protective effects of certain medicinal plants on isoproterenol and IR injury-induced myocardial infarction models in rats, which could have potential clinical applications in the future. In my last role as a Senior Research Fellow at AIIMS, New Delhi, I developed therapeutic strategies for myocardial infarction using preclinical animal models. My ability to translate scientific insights into impactful solutions, coupled with a collaborative spirit, enables me to drive innovation and make a lasting difference in healthcare.
